KEMAH, Texas (KTRK) — Rides at the Kemah boardwalk will reopen today, according to officials. Landry’s, the company responsible for operating the boardwalk, will reopen all rides with a special wristband offering unlimited access for three days at all three parks. The rides were shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Do I have to wear a mask at Kemah Boardwalk?
The health and safety of our guests and employees is always our top priority. At all of our Landry’s properties in Texas, we will continue to screen our employees daily and require them to wear face masks at this time and will continue to reevaluate weekly. Clothing with explicit language is not allowed.
How much is the boat ride at Kemah?
It is $15 for adults and $12 for kids. It was the best ride out there, though. Yes, you will get wet, so don’t bring electronics of any kind.

Enjoying The Kemah Boardwalk is free but if you want to participate or experience any of the rides, face painting, boat excursions, etc. you have to buy tickets or pay cash or use your credit card. You don’t need an entry ticket to enter the park. You will, however, need tickets for the rides.

Parking. If you don’t mind parking a little further away from the boardwalk, shuttle boat parking lots off of Texas Avenue are free. Closer lots and parking garage on-site cost $8. During spring break and weekends, however, all on-site parking is paid.
