Who owns Caneel Bay St John?
Caneel Bay sustained extensive damage during 2017’s hurricane Irma, and has not been rebuilt however the resort’s owner, CBI Acquisitions, is entertaining architectural plans to rebuilt in an environmentally-friendly and more sustainable manner to “honor Laurence Rockefeller’s legacy”.
How do you get to Caneel Bay?
Getting there: Caneel Bay Resort is just a few miles away from Cruz Bay heading South on North Shore Road (Rte 20). On your left is the main entrance and gatehouse to Caneel Bay Resort. Access is limited to Honeymoon Beach and Salomon Beach and does not include use of beach chairs, towels or amenities.
